Health Care in Georgia. Comparison with the Countries of the European Region. 

 Statistical Yearbook “Health care in Georgia” is constituted by L.Sakvarelidze National Center for Disease Control and  Public Health of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia based on WHO database “Health for All” and  sectoral statistical reports.

The yearbook includes data on number of population,  age and sex composition, birth and mortality rate, as well as  population health status.  Methodology recommended by UN and WHO   is used for  calculation of indicators, that stipulates comparability of Georgian indicators with the indicators of the other countries.
